AS Roma will aim to keep pace in the Serie A standings when they host AC Milan in an all-important heavyweight Serie A clash.

AS Roma have had a mixed start to the 2021-22 Serie A season. They sit second in the Serie A standings with just goal difference separating them and league leaders Napoli. They have scored 23 goals and conceded just nine in Serie A so far this season. Their last Serie A outing was a gutsy 1-0 victory over mid-table rivals, Torino. Oliver Giroud scored the eventual winning goal in the 14th minute. Despite a poor start to their European competition this season, they will be relishing the prospect of a title race in Serie A. Ante Rebic, Mike Maignan, and Alessandro Florenzi are unavailable due to injuries. Fode Ballo Toure and Samu Castillejo are major doubts.

Neither side has ever dominated this fixture but AC Milan has been the better side in recent meetings with (W2 D2 L1). AC Milan has seen BTTS in five of their last six away matches. Roma’s home form this Serie A season has been solid with four wins and three clean sheets. Roma has seen 68% of their total goals in Serie A this season arrive in the second half.
