Bayer Leverkusen are in great form as they welcome Wolfsburg to the BayArena on Tuesday. Leverkusen have been rapidly climbing the Bundesliga table and should be too strong for a wilting Wolfsburg side.

Bayer Leverkusen are in fantastic form, winning 11 of their last 12 matches to stay alive in three competitions. The Werkself beat Union Berlin 3-1 at home to reach the German Cup semifinals. Leverkusen returned to Bundesliga action by beating Eintracht Frankfurt 4-0 at home. Peter Bosz’s side travelled to Scotland and beat Rangers 3-1 in the UEFA Europa League. Bayer Leverkusen returned to action with a 4-1 win at Werder Bremen and 3-1 win at Borussia Monchengladbach. Kai Havertz opened the scoring in Monchengladbach and made it 2-1 from the penalty spot.  Sven Bender headed home a Kerem Demirbay free kick to make it 3-1 in the 81st minute. The win in Monchengladbach moved Leverkusen to third on the Bundesliga table.

Verstile defender Lars Bender is out with a foot injury and forward Kevin Volland could miss the rest of the season with an ankle injury. 
Left back Wendell, midfielder Nadiem Amiri, winger Leon Bailey and forward Lucas Alario are all chances to start with the fixtures starting to pile up. Kai Havertz is in tremendous form with nine goals and five assists in Leverkusen’s previous 10 matches in all competitions.

Wolfsburg have lost two of their last three matches in all competitions. The Wolves won four straight matches in February but have won once in their last five. Oliver Glasner’s side suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Europa League before the break. Wolfsburg returned to action with a 2-1 win at Augsburg and 2-0 home defeat to Borussia Dortmund. Renato Steffen hit the woodwork shortly after half time against Dortmund but they managed just one shot on target in the match. Right back William, left back Paulo Otavio and defensive midfielder Ignacio Camacho could be out for the rest of the season. Midfielders Yannick Gerhardt has a facial fracture and Josuha Guilavogui is struggling with a knee injury. Striker Daniel Ginczek could be replaced Joao Victor up front. Attacking midfielder Felix Klaus is suspended after being sent off against Dortmund.

Bayer Leverkusen are in great form and will be confident of controlling this match. Leverkusen have won three of their last four Bundesliga matches against Wolfsburg.
