Juventus will look to close the gap to top four in Serie A when they travel to face Bologna on Saturday.

After four Serie A wins from five games since the start of November, Bologna has suffered back-to-back losses against Fiorentina and Torino. They conceded midway through both halves against Torino- with Riccardo Orsolini’s penalty only as a minor consolation. Bologna currently occupies the 10th position in the Serie A table and are four points behing the top six. However, Bologna are having a good season so far with more points at this stage of a Serie A season than in each of their last ten top flight campaigns. Bologna has lost just three games at home this season and has failed to score in only one of their last 11 competitive outings on home ground. Six of Bologna’s last seven Serie A games have featured under 3.5 goals. Jerdy Schouten and Kingsley Michael are ruled out with injuries. Midfielder Nicolas Dominguez is back from suspension and could start here.

Juventus has had a turbulent Serie A season with injuries and defensive instability. They were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw to newly promoted Venezia. Although Paulo Dybala went off injured early on, Juventus took the lead through a neat flick by Alvaro Morata, but Mattia Aramu’s reply shortly after the break proved enough for Venezia to secure a 1-1 draw. Max Allegri’s men sit seventh in the Serie A standings – level on points with Roma, but 12 adrift league leaders Inter Mian – so cannot afford many more slip-ups. Juventus’s last six Serie A victories have featured under 3.5 goals, and their record of just 17 goals conceded is the third-best record in the league. Juventus has won their last 11 meetings with Bologna, and are unbeaten in their last 20, with the latter run stretching back to February 2011. Dejan Kulusevski and Weston McKennie returned to full training this week and will be available to feature. Manuel Locatelli and Paulo Dybala are major doubts. , Danilo, Aaron Ramsey, and Federico Chiesa remain sidelined.
