A tight contest is expected when Club Brugge host Dynamo Kiev in their UEFA Champions League qualifier at the Jan Breydel Stadium. Both teams do not have a good goal scoring record in the competition.
Kiev are tipped to earn a draw in Belgium at 3.40 having gone unbeaten in three of their last four matches in the competition.
Club Brugge claimed a 6-0 victory over Sint-Truiden in the Belgian League on Saturday. David Okereke netted a brace while Percy Tau and Siebe Schrijvers were also on target.
Philippe Clement’s men fell at the group stage of the Champions League last season and were given a bye from the previous rounds this year. A win on Tuesday is priced at 1.91 but the Belgians often struggle for goals in the Champions League and have produced under 2.5 goals in three of their last four matches in the competition.
Dynamo Kiev are also coming off a victory as they saw off Lviv 3-0 in a Ukrainian Premier League fixture. Vitality Buyalskyy scored a brace in first half injury time while Carlos de Pena added the third after the break.
Aleksandr Khatskevich’s men fell at the third round in last season’s competition and were given a bye from the first two rounds this year. They are priced at 4.00 to win in Belgium but have also produced under 2.5 goals in four of their last five Champions League fixtures.
Artem Besedin often leads the line for Dynamo Kiev but the striker has scored just once in his last five competitive matches. He should be supported by Oscar de Pena and Oleksandr Karavaev, both of whom have also struggled for goals lately.
Club Brugge have looked tight at the back lately with just one goal conceded in their last two matches. They will be confident of shutting out Artem Besedin and Oscar de Pena, which have looked off colour in recent matches.
Dynamo Kiev have also maintained a solid defensive record in recent fixtures having failed to concede in their last two outings. They should stand firm against David Okereke and Siebe Schrijvers up front for Club Brugge.
PREDICTION : DRAW 1-1
