`Club Brugge will aim to extend their 100% start to the 2021-22 UEFA Champions League campaign when they host Manchester City on Tuesday night.

Club Brugge began their 2021-22 UEFA Champions League campaign with an impressive draw over French giants PSG. They managed to nullify the Lionel Messi-Kylian Mbappe-Neymar trio to settle for a memorable 1-1 draw. The Belgian champions followed up with a 2-1 win over RB Leipzig on matchday two. Christopher Nkunku scored to give the Germans the lead in the fifth minute but quickfire goals from Hans Vanaken and Mats Rits put them ahead before Halftime. Although Club Brugge was dominated most of the match, they were able to hold on to a 2-1 win and stay top of Group A. Midfielder Eder Balanta is ruled out with a long-term injury. Head Coach Phillipe Clemont is with a full squad to play and is likely to stick with his compact 4-4-2 formation.

Premier League champions Manchester City kicked off their 2021-22 UEFA Champions League campaign with a 6-3 thrashing over German side RB Leipzig but fell to a 2-0 defeat to PSG. Pep Guardiola’s men dominated 62% of possession and had 18 shots with 9 being on target but couldn’t find a way past Donnarumma. The defeat at PSG ended a 10-game unbeaten run for Man City away from home in the Champions League but Pep Guardiola will rally his side to start another run here. Midfielder Ilkay Gundogan and defender Oleksandr Zinchenko will start from the bench after just returning from injuries. Ruben Dias, Jack Grealish, Kyle Walker, and Riyad Mahrez are all fit and ready to start after being rested at the weekend.

Tuesday will mark the first-ever meeting between both sides in any competition, but Club Brugge has lost nine of their last 12 continental games against English opponents. Man City has scored over 2.5 goals in seven of their last 11 games. They have won with 2+ goals in five games this season. We are backing a comfortable win for the citizens here.

PREDICTION: MAN CITY WIN 0-2/1-2/0-3/1-3
