Fulham vs Everton Premier League Betting Tips, Predictions and Odds

Fulham host Everton at Craven Cottage on Sunday in the English Premier League. Everton will be looking to end a run of three successive defeats prior to the international break with a big win away to Fulham.

Fulham snapped a six-game winless start to the Premier League season with a 2-0 win over fellow battlers West Brom. First half goals from Bobby Reid and Ola Aina sealed the side’s first league win of the season and propelled them out of the relegation zone.  This was followed by a dramatic 1-0 loss away to West Ham. Fulham forward Ademola Lookman’s 98th minute attempt to salvage a draw was denied after his panenka attempt was saved.  Fulham sit 17th on the table, one point outside the relegation zone. Midfielder Mario Lemina should return to the side after recovering from a hamstring injury. The 27-year-old was not risked in Fulham’s loss to West Ham after coming off sore against West Brom. Forward Aboubakar Kamara will miss the match due to serving the third of his three-game suspension.  Terence Kongolo is no closer to a Fulham debut with the defender expected to be out for a further two months with a calf injury.

After a stellar start to the season, Everton’s last three games have been nothing short of disastrous.  The Toffees won four of their opening five games before suffering consecutive defeats to Southampton (2-0), Newcastle (2-1) and Manchester United (3-1). This has seen Everton drop from first to seventh over the last few weeks and they now sit three points outside the top four. English international Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been one of the club’s brightest sparks this season, scoring 11 goals in all competitions. Brazilian international Allan is in serious doubt after picking up an injury while international duty. The 29-year-old suffered a muscular injury during Brazil’s match against Venezuela last Friday. Fullback Seamus Coleman could also miss the trip to Fulham after re-injuring his hamstring while training with the Irish national team.

Both sides will be looking to make amends after a poor showing prior to the international break. Everton will be determined to get back to winning ways with a strong showing over the newly promoted Fulham. Despite a poor three weeks, Everton should not have any trouble getting past Fulham.
