Juventus vs Dynamo Kiev Champions League Betting Tips, Predictions and Odds

Juventus host Dynamo Kiev in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday. Juventus forward Alvaro Morata will be looking to add to his impressive goal tally when the Old Lady face an injury-riddled Dynamo Kiev.

Juventus responded in the best possible way after their 2-0 loss at home to Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League.  Since then the Serie A champions recorded big wins over Ferencvaros in the Champions League (4-1 and 2-0), as well as victories in the league against Spezia (4-1) and Calgiari (2-0) in Serie A.  Their most recent match ended in a 1-1 draw against Benevento. Spanish forward Alvaro Morata has been in fine form in Juventus’ UEFA Champions League campaign. He has scored five goals in the side’s opening four matches. Juventus’ defence could be bolstered by the return of Turkish centre-back Merih Demiral. The 22-year-old has missed the side’s last two matches due to injury but is a chance to return for the upcoming match. Juventus will still be without Italian defenders Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini. The pair have been sidelined since the beginning of the season due to injury. Aaron Ramsey made a successful return from a quad injury in Juventus’ last match against Benevento and will be in contention to start.

Dynamo Kiev are yet to win a UEFA Champions League match this season. Their only point so far has come from a 2-2 draw with Ferencvaros, with their last two matches ending in defeats against Barcelona (2-1 and 4-0).  Domestically, Dynamo Kiev continue to dominate the Ukranian Premier League. They bounced back from their 3-0 loss to Shakhtar Donetsk with wins against Inhulets’ (2-0) and Vorskla (2-0). Dynamo Kiev have had to make significant alterations to their squad in recent weeks. Five first team players have been ruled out after testing positive for coronavirus, with only midfielder Mykola Shaparenko returning to the field. Forward Artem Biesiedin will be unavailable as he serves a one-year doping ban.

Juventus have won all three meetings between the two sides. The last time these two sides met was in Matchday one of this season’s UEFA Champions League. The Old Lady recorded a 2-0 victory with Alvaro Morata scoring a brace. While Juventus have already qualified for the Round of 16, top spot in Group G is still up for grabs.  Dynamo Kiev will be looking to sew up a Europa League place and avoid finishing bottom of the group. Juventus have won five of their last six at home. I’m tipping them to flex their muscle and win comfortably against a weakened Dynamo Kiev.
