Euro 2020 | Arena Națională | 5th September 2019 19:45
Spain are tipped to have the upper hand when they travel to the Arena Nationala for a European Championship qualifier against Romania. The Spaniards have won all four matches in the campaign and are tipped to secure a win with the match going over 2.5 goals.
Romania are coming off a 4-0 victory against Malta last time out in the European qualifiers. George Puscas scored a first half brace while Alexandru Chipciu made it three on 34 minutes before Dennis Man completed the rout deep into added time.
Spain claimed a 3-0 victory at home against Sweden in their previous qualifying fixture. Sergio Ramos and Alvaro Morata both scored from the spot to give the Spaniards a two-goal lead before Mikel Oyarzabal added the third three minutes from time. Roberto Moreno’s men have a 100% record in the qualifiers and travel to Bucharest off the back of five straight victories in all competitions. Their good form has them at odds of 1.40 for a win on Thursday but having conceded in five of their last eight matches, they are unlikely to keep a clean sheet.
George Puscas and Claudiu Kaseru have a good partnership in attack and will be the ones to watch for Romania. They should combine well to trouble the Spanish attack on Thursday. Spain are known for their attacking style of play and have plenty of quality going forward. Mikel Oyarzabal and Paco Alcacer have impressed in recent outings and will be confident of getting the better of the Romanians.
PREDICTION : SPAIN 3-1
ACCUMULATOR TIP : OVER 2.5 FT GOALS
