It was far from plain sailing however, Wolves having 35% possession and allowing the Greek champions 16 shots. Goalkeeper Rui Patricio produced a man of the match performance. Wolves left-back Jonny picked up an injury against Olmpiacos and is likely to be replaced by Rúben Vinagre.

They were dominant throughout with goals to Sergio Reguilón and Youssef En-Nesyri establishing a 2-0 half time lead. The win was fully deserved with Ever Banega and Jules Kounde hitting the woodwork, Sevilla enjoying 56% possession and 16-7 shots. Sevilla have a full strength side available.

Wolves have done well in their debut Europa League campaign. Sevilla represent their toughest challenge yet, the advantage though should be with Sevilla, with the Spanish club’s experience to see them through.
